The U.S. National Science Foundation has provided funds to support early career U.S. mathematicians' participation in the upcoming XXII Rolf Nevanlinna Colloquium. We anticipate being able to provide airfare costs, and probably more, for a number of graduate students, postdocs, and tenure-track assistant professors. Preference will be given to applications submitted prior to May 15, but later applications will be accepted and reviewed.
If you are interested in attending this conference, please send the following information to each of David Herron, Dick Canary, Alan Reid.
- a brief (one or two page) vita
- a brief letter of support from your advisor (if you are a graduate student), or,
- a brief statement explaining the importance of RNC-2013 to your research program
Don't forget that immediately following the Nevanlinna Colloquium we have the memorial conference A quasiconformal life: Celebration of the legacy and work of F.W.Gehring.
