This presentation will show how science is used to identify active ingredients that lead to the creation of new Olay facial moisturizers. The goal of the presentation is to show how science, including biology, biochemistry, and chemistry, are used everyday in industry. I will show the girls product demonstrations to explain why some formulations do not make it to market and the girls will get to select their favorite new skin moisturizer concept and product. During the course of the presentation, the girls will be exposed to a variety of possible industry careers available to women with science degrees, in addition to experiencing a portion of what is required to put new Beauty Care products on the market
