Local Transportation:

CVG airport is located about 15 miles from the University of Cincinnati campus.

Public transportation from CVG is limited: The 2X Bus provides service to downtown Cincinnati, transferring to a Metro Bus to reach the University neighborhood. Total fare is approximately $3 each way. Check both sites for detailed route and fare information.

Shared-ride shuttle service is offered by Executive Transportation at the rate of $22 one way or $32 round-trip. Call (800) 990-8841 or (859) 261-8841 for reservations.

Taxi fare to the University of Cincinnati area is estimated at $37.

Walking Directions from the Hampton Inn:

All conference talks are in the Campus Recreation Center classrooms 3220 and 3230. The main staircase up the the classroom level is located by the green letter "B" on the route map, more or less opposite a Starbucks store.

The highlighted path is 6/10 of a mile. You will probably use sidewalks instead of the center of the street.
There is an elevator up to the classroom level at the far southwest end of the building near the entrance to the football stadium. It is marked on this detailed map of the West Campus.
ORAM is in the "Main Street Classrooms".

Finding the Lindner Center

Go to the southwest (uphill) side of the Campus Recreation Center, turn left, and follow the elevated walkway that overlooks Nippert Stadium. The Lindner Center is just on the far side, between the stadium and the Fifth Third Arena.

This map has both the buildings and the walkway labeled.

Note: There is a home basketball game in the Fifth Third Arena (starting at 4pm).

The Ohio River Analysis Meeting is a joint project of the University of Cincinnati Department of Mathematical Sciences and the University of Kentucky Department of Mathematics.

It is made possible by additional generous support from the University of Cincinnati, the Charles Phelps Taft Research Center, and the National Science Foundation.
