Source Reflection Coefficent: G_s is the reflection coefient resulting from the Source Impedance seen at the input terminals of the transistor looking toward the source. This reflection coefficent is usually a complex quantity. In the actual design of the amplifier, it plays a major role in determining the overall gain and the noise figure of the amplifier. It is used interchangable with the Source Impedance Z_s.
