Office Hours: 10:00—11:50 a.m., Wednesday (or by special arrangement)

Each class will feature the application of MATHEMATICA to a series of problems having a related character. Then, during the last 15 minutes of each class, a similar problem will be assigned for you (as the student in the class) to solve on your computer during the remainder of the class. When you signal for your work to be checked, satisfactory progress will be rewarded with a check mark opposite your name on the class list.

A grade of P (pass) at the end of the course will be based on your having received a sufficient number of satisfactory check marks for the various classes (e.g., all but one or two satisfactory check marks).
