Ground Transportation
The Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport is located in Northern
Kentucky. Unfortunately, there is no convenient public transportation from
the Airport to campus. Other than renting a car, your options are:
-
Take a cab to campus. The ride will normally take about 20-30 minutes
depending on traffic and construction.
- Take the Jetport Express bus to the downtown. At each baggage claim
area is a Jetport booth.
The
bus will take you to the downtown hotels. From there you would have to
catch a city bus to campus. Routes 17, 18 and 19 run past campus. You board
these downtown on Sixth Street, between Vine and Walnut. Routes 43, 45
and 47 run to Reading and Oak. It is a 2 block walk from there to the Vernon
Manor. You board these on Fifth Street, between Walnut and Main.
-
Call Door-to-Door Transportation at (800) 783-0088.
Call at least 24 hours in advance to reserve a van.
Other Airports
University of Cincinnati is less than 2 hours away from a number of
other regional airports
including Louisville, Indianapolis, Columbus, Dayton, and Lexington. You
might find airfares less expensive if you go through one of these locations
but you will need a car from there.
By Bus
The Greyhound Bus Station is located about 3 miles from the main
UC campus. You will need to take a cab to campus. Cabs are usually located
directly out in front of the bus station.
The ride takes about 10 minutes.
