Study of Construction of Marble Steps |
The field study project
was intense. We had to select and communicate with many professionals and
tradesmen. We overcame several hurdles in selecting and scheduling
construction operation to analyze. In this assignment, we learned how to
do background research, collect data and analyze it. We also experienced
how to apply concepts that we learned in the class for productivity
improvement. Finally, We learned how
to appreciate the hard work in construction and the importance of safely
measures in construction operations. As a result of this
project, our interpersonal skills and teamwork have improved. We co-
authored a report and presented it in front of experienced jurors from the
construction industry. |
