Biographical sketch

The first 20 years of my professional career was dedicated to service delivery. Clinical areas of experience and expertise include evaluation and treatment of aphasia, cognitive impairment, voice and swallowing disorders.  I have extensive experience in instrumental evaluation of voice and swallowing disorders, particularly those involving endoscopy.  Throughout my career I have worked in the medical setting including a acute/ rehabilitation hospital and voice lab within a private physician (ENT) practice.  In 1995 I returned to University of Cincinnati  to pursue my doctorate.  After having received that degree in August of 2001, I joined the Communication Sciences and Disorders faculty.
