Hospitality Management Certificate at UC Home

Certificate Requirements

To earn the certificate in Hospitality Management, students must complete a total of 36-quarter credit hours as detailed below and meet the requirements for or possess a baccalaureate degree. A cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 (equivalent to a C) is required. Matriculating students may earn this professional certificate concurrent with their matriculation in a baccalaureate degree program.

* Hospitality Industry Internship. Sponsored experiential learning within the hospitality industry. A coordinated faculty, student, and industry field experience with a minimum of 150 contact hours per academic quarter. Between quarter periods can be used to satisfy this requirement.

*Business Ethics and Decisions requires a 30-hour community service project per quarter
