Residents gain experience in acute injury care and routine surveillance examinations. They can also participate in consultative visits to client companies and perform walk-through evaluations. |

Located in Cleveland, Ohio, this rotation offers the resident a full administrative, clinical and industrial hygiene experiences. The resident also has the opportunity to review production processes firsthand. |

Located in Cleveland, Ohio, this rotation offers the resident an extensive variety of experiences in the company's corporate medical, industrial hygiene, safety, and production departments. |

Department of Energy |
Rotations are available in the Occupational Medicine Office at the Department of Energy in Washington DC. This office is responsible for the medical programs in the approximately 50 sites nationwide currently or historically involved in the processing of radioactive materials. |

Fernald Environmental Management Project (FEMP) -required rotation |
This rotation is mainly clinical and partially administrative in nature. The resident gains familiarity with the health, safety, and administrative issues involved with a radiation and other hazardous waste remediation site. |

Good Samaritan Hospital Occupational Medicine |
This clinic provides occupational medicine services for a number of small companies. Examinations include pre-placement medical evaluations, periodic medical evaluations, respirator health checks, back to work exams, and more. |

Kimberly-Clark Company |
Located in Neenah Wisconsin, this rotation exposes the resident to health promotion and health screening techniques in addition to the complete spectrum of corporate occupational health. |

Mercy Business Connection |
This rotation gives the resident a variety of clinical occupational medical experiences in an ambulatory care setting. The clinic is located about 15 miles north of U.C. in Fairfield, Ohio. |

National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) |
Rotations with the Health Evaluation and Technology Assessment Branch (HETAB)and industry wide studies branch have both been highly recommended by past residents. Residents are usually given the opportunity to travel to the worksites of interesting health hazard evaluations (HHE's). |

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) -Local Office |
This rotation is specifically designed to provide the resident with direct training in industrial hygiene and safety methods. It will also expose them to the day to day activities of one most highly regarded local OSHA offices in the nation. |

OSHA National Office |
This Washington D.C. area rotation offers a two month experience where residents participate in all aspects of the Office of Occupational Medicine (OOM) activities. Supervision is by staff occupational medicine physicians. |

Procter and Gamble Company (P&G) |
This highly-regarded corporate rotation is primarily designed to give residents in corporate occupational medicine research and project development. P&G employees approximately 100,000 workers, 50,000 in the United States and 50,000 internationally, so a wide variety of experiences are available. |

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base |
Located in Dayton, Ohio, this rotation is an opportunity to experience Occupational and Aerospace Medicine at a very large and well-established Air Force Occupational Medicine program. The physician preceptors work closely with the base's industrial hygienists and safety professionals. |

Allergy |
The Bernstein Allergy Group physicians are internationally recognized experts in the field of allergy, including occupational allergy. |

Dermatology |
Dr. C.G. Toby Mathias is a dermatologist who is an expert in the field of occupational dermatoses. Rotating through his clinic, residents are given the opportunity to see a wide variety of occupational and general dermatological conditions. |

Freiberg Spine Institute |
Dr. Michael Swank is an Orthopedic Surgeon who serves as the clinic's medical director. Residents on this rotation are instructed on the examination, treatment, and rehabilitation of back injuries. |

Legal Aspects of Occupational Medicine |
The law firm of Young, Reverman, and Napier gives residents first hand experience working inside the Ohio state worker’s compensation legal system as well as observing the legal aspects of the Social Security Disability process. |

Myofascial Pain |
Dr. Hal Blatman, is an Occupational Medicine physician, who has a great deal of experience treating patients with chronic pain and fibromyalgia. Residents on this rotation gain experience in, stretching regimens, trigger point injection techniques, and exercise modalities in the rehabilitation of chronic pain. |

Orthopedics |
Dr. Peter Stern and his group are recognized authorities in the diagnosis and management of disorders of the hand and upper extremities. |

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation |
Dr. Mark Goddard is trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and he supervises residents as they gain experience in musculoskeletal and cumulative trauma disorder evaluations and the utility of EMG/NCV studies in this setting. |

Pulmonary – required rotation |
The Occupational Pulmonary Clinic in the Medical Arts Building is staffed by Dr. James Lockey. |

Radiology |
Dr. Jerome Wiot and his group are authorities in the radiologic diagnosis of pneumoconioses, but residents also have an opportunity to sharpen their skills interpreting many types of radiologic studies of non-occupational conditions. |

Veteran’s Administration Disability Clinic |
Dr. James Donovan, trained in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine, supervises residents performing disability and impairment evaluations. |
