- 20 house variables like number of rooms and age of house
- 5 financial variables like mortgage amount and mortgage rate
- 242 school district variables like proficiency test results for 1998, 1999 and 2000, and enrollment and teacher experience and discipline problems, property value (agricultural, residential, commercial), private school data
- 12 crime variables
- 49 environmental quality variables covering water pollution, air pollution, and distance of house to nearest point-source polluter
- 61 Demographic variables like percent white, percent single, income heterogeneity.
