A new species that we described in 2012, Solanum baretiae (pictured above) was featured in newspapers, magazines, and other news sources around the World, including Scientific American (article and podcast), Our Amazing Planet, The Guardian (UK), History.com, BBC Mundo (Spanish), the Salt Lake Tribune, El Mundo (Spain), Público (Spain), Le Monde (France), Slate Magazine (French edition), Muy Interesante (Argentina), La Tercera (Chile), El Universo (Ecuador), the Annals of Botany, and the University of Cincinnati’s McMicken Monthly.
